The company was established in 1982 as Salzer und Partner Rationalisierungen GmbH by Dipl.-Wirtsch.-Ing. Jörg J. Salzer (Graduate in Business Administration and Engineering) and several partners. The key aspects of consultancy and planning are the improvement of operating technology as well as the client's organisation with a strong focus on logistics.
During the 1980s our projects were characterised by the automation of process sections in order to drive rationalisation. The proportion of implementation projects increased significantly in the 1990s. The company became a strong implementation partner for industry and trade. Today holistic consultancy from the definition of strategy, through process analysis to implementation and training determines the scope of services.
In 1991, Dipl.-Ing. (FH) Axel M. Koch (Graduate Engineer) began his career at Salzer und Partner. In 1993 he became project manager and in 1998 shareholder and partner. Axel M. Koch's entry into the company marked a close co-operation with SimPlan AG. Since then simulation has been increasingly used for the hedging of more and more complex investment projects.
Due to its long-standing experience in international consultancy, planning and Mr. Koch's leadership function in international management of more than 8 years, today the company holds extraordinary knowledge of all details regarding business processes.
Since March 2009 the company has operated as Salzer & Koch Consultants GmbH. With highest quality standards we design companies efficiently, and initiate the required changes. All consultancy, planning and implementation services are provided in a neutral manner and irrespective of the interests of capital goods and IT suppliers.
